
Dr André Bolster
Clinical Psychologist
André holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of East Anglia (2015), an MSc in Counselling Psychology from Trinity College Dublin (2009), and a BA in Psychology with First Class Honours from Trinity College Dublin (2006). He has extensive experience working with adults presenting with a wide range of psychological difficulties across both inpatient and outpatient settings within the National Health Service (NHS) in England. In addition to his clinical work, André is involved in clinical supervision, reflective practice, critical incident debriefing, as well as training and teaching on various topics, including trauma-informed care.
His therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on multiple models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). He also incorporates humanistic-existential, trauma-informed, and body-focused methods. His key areas of interest include PTSD, complex trauma, dissociation, psychosis, recovery, and spirituality.
