Irmina is a registered Counselling Psychologist with 16 years of experience supporting children, families, and adults in both Poland and the UK. She works across various mental health hospital settings, including NHS adult community services and CAMHS, assisting clients through developmental crises, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and other challenges that arise at different life stages. Irmina strives to create a warm and secure environment where individuals in crisis feel comfortable and heard. She values the unique story of every person, recognising their individuality and exceptional nature.
Her therapeutic approach includes third-wave CBT modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Mindfulness, as well as Family Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
Her key interests include stress, anxiety, depression, self-harm, relationship difficulties, PTSD and complex trauma, low self-esteem, and challenges related to emigration.
